Bob Campbell of 'The Real Review' gave 91 points and 4 stars.
"Supple and quite oaky pinot noir, with moderately concentrated red cherry, violet, raspberry and classy French oak flavours. An elegant wine in a restrained rather than blockbuster style. Good purity and a moderately lengthy finish."

The grapes from which this wine was made were grown on one of Mount Riley’s premium vineyards in the Southern Valleys sub region – our Seventeen Valley vineyard, comprised of predominantly clay based soil. From clones 5, 777 and 115 the wines blended create what we consider to be the finest attributes Pinot Noir has to offer.

Grapes were handpicked cold soaked and fermented using indigenous yeast from Mount Riley’s winery and vineyard with a portion fermented as whole clusters. The wine was then aged for ten months in a mixture of new and seasoned French barrels.
