2017 Mount Riley Sauvignon Blanc
Our Limited Release range is made in small amounts and sold through fine wine stores, restaurants and our cellar door.
Our Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc was made from a selection of our most expressive fruit from the 2017 vintage. The blend was made from 70% Wairau Valley fruit and 30% Awatere Valley fruit. The wine we’ve made shows impeccable fruit expression, concentration and balance.
Grapes were crushed and destemmed prior to pressing and fermentation was induced by the introduction of carefully selected yeast strains. We fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the lifted aromatics in this wine.
