A growing history of success with this label through several vintages has seen this wine become a leading light in Riesling, the addition of a percentage of Nelson fruit is seen by winemaker Digger Hennessey as a clue to the wine¹s lovely structure and drink ability. Almost dry and very well fruited.

Our 2007 Riesling is made from a blend of grapes from the Wairau Valley region of Marlborough and Nelson. Conditions were unsettled during flowering in the 2007 growing year resulting in incomplete berry set. Warm weather was experienced post flowering and continued up until harvest. These conditions resulted in low yields but fruit with excellent flavour intensity. Grapes were harvested in pristine condition then crushed and destemmed. Fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures in stainless steel to achieve absolute purity of fruit.
