The wine certainly does show a good concentration of ripe cherries and plums, with licorice and clove undertones. The nicely balanced finish is soft and sweet, with blackcurrant, cassis flavours and a decent, long tail. A well-made wine, it is worth a taste.

Peter Saunders, Hospitality Magazine, April 2010

Medium-bodied Marlborough wine with a very nice texture, good fruit, young and fresh with no clutter. A flavoursome and easy drinking style under new winemaker Matthew Murphy with plenty of longevity. Will continue to unfold over the next two or three years at least.

A classic Pinot Noir with dark cherry and red berry characters supported by subtle earthiness. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 9 months adding complexity and slight aromas of spice and toast. An elegant wine with soft tannins and concentrated flavour.
